Abdul Rahman Alashraf is a Syrian engineer who won the European Youth Award 2016 for inventing and developing (Freecom) technology which allows users to use the internet even in the case of connection-outages.
The idea uses innovative ways to create a network between people using their smartphones instead of depending on coverage towers and satellites.
Abdulrahman achieved a Masters degree with honors from the University of Stuttgart, Germany, in the very short time of one-and-a-half years.
Now he is in need of support to carry his project forward. He requires the help of programmers, media professionals or designers to accomplish the project on both levels of technology and media.
Dubarah’s team wishes Abdul Rahman more success and good luck.
